“I love it when art ignites us, energizes us, and brings us together. It’s exhilarating to leave an experience bursting with conversation, reflections, and yes, even questions. This week, the Orpheum Theatre Group welcomes a nationally touring Tony Award-winning show mere days before our community makes its voice heard at the polls. SUFFS – shorthand for Suffragists – is just one of many opportunities this week to experience the immeasurable power of the arts. The power to reflect our own story back to us in ways that renew passion and creativity for our causes. To recognize ourselves in the moments we’re in now. To remind us of where we’ve been so we can determine where we’re going. To transform our world by helping us grow and creating more loving and empathetic human beings in the process.” - Christina Torres, Vice President of Marketing, Orpheum Theatre Group

“Working in the construction industry, I have a deep appreciation for creativity in all its forms. Exploring Memphis' arts scene is a great way to celebrate the people and places that shape our community. That's why I'm especially excited to experience What We Surround Ourselves With at the Metal Museum: a fitting final exhibition at the Bluff campus that celebrates the artistry, skill, and stories behind exceptional metalsmithing. It's a wonderful reminder of the talent that enriches our community and inspires the work we do every day." - Ann Cooper, Director of Marketing & Communications, RKA Construction
