Creating a new patio/basketball court on top of a filled in pool. The contractor ordered 8 yards of concrete to create a usable area on top of a filled in pool. It ended up only taking 7 yards. If he ordered his concrete from a standard ready mix company that uses drum trucks he would have paid for 8 yards and would have to either find a place for a yard of concrete or let the concrete company keep the extra yard. We only charged him for 7 yards.
