We’re so grateful for the foster who stepped up and made it possible to pull this piggy from Memphis Animal Services! As it turns out, Petunia is a Mister Petunia! 😂
Our next steps are raising funds to have him neutered by our fantastic vet Dr. Oleson; if you would like to contribute any amount you can donate at PayPal.me/pigtopia! Our goal is to raise $600 for his necessary medical care 💜
All the pigs were very excited to check out the new feeding pen and nosh on some fresh grass!
We recently completed this long, somewhat narrow pen for our general population just for feeding time! It allows me to first place all the food and wet it down (ideal for pigs for many reasons!) evenly spread out, and then let them all in to eat. It also reduces how muddy the feeding area can get with rain, and helps me out a lot because I have a bad back and carrying a bucket in mud with so many excited piggies has led to me tripping and falling too many times 😂 The next goal is to fence in the pasture behind here to give them a giant new area with access to wooded areas!
Reggie understands the assignment! It’s pumpkin season! Thank you to Midtown Nursery Memphis for making all the pigs dreams come true with their donation of hundreds of beautiful delicious pumpkins 🎃 ♥️
