HopeWorks Memphis

Recently, HopeWorks AESL classes from our Highland location in Cordova enjoyed a field trip to Memphis Public Libraries' Cordova branch! Students played board games with their teachers and practiced their English conversation. It was a great day!

If you haven't heard, last month we held the ribbon cutting for our newest addition, Next Story. Next Story will serve as part of our reentry program, designed to support Tennessee men returning from prison. Every choice about our Reentry Program was prayerful and intentional.

Recently, HopeWorks was honored to be awarded a $6,000 grant from ProLiteracy. It is designed to support the costs of any educational or literacy program that might not otherwise be covered by state grants or funding.

We are so grateful and can't wait to see how this grant impacts our work at HopeWorks!
