On Father’s Day Sunday, June 21, Rev. Floridia Jackson will deliver her sermon “Phatherhood” (no, not a typo!) based on 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12.
We celebrate fathers everywhere, every kind: good and loving fathers, struggling fathers, absent fathers, sacrificing fathers, q***r and trans fathers, prayerful fathers, older-active fathers, young accountable fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, foster dads and pet dads.
We celebrate our fathers on earth and our fathers in heaven.
Will we see you Sunday at 11 a.m.? In-person at 685 S. Highland or here on Facebook live.

WE'RE TURNING 36!
We opened our doors 36 years ago today as a response to an urgent need in the Memphis social and faith communities. At a small A-frame church on Monroe in Midtown, our ten founding members welcomed congregants, many of whom had been excluded from churches due to discrimination surrounding the emergence of HIV/AIDS.
As the first church of its kind in the Mid-South, Holy Trinity gained eminence and grew - proudly inclusive of gender, race, age, sexual orientation, economic condition and theological background.
Over three decades later our mission is steadfast: to participte in God's healing love by offering extravagant grace, radical inclusion and relentless compassion for all.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HOLY TRINITY!
