God didn’t ask Adam to make the garden or repair it. He told him to *tend and keep it*. The garden was already complete before Adam arrived. In the same way, nothing in your life catches God by surprise. He prepared your place before He placed you in it.
As believers, we were born into a finished work. Our assignment isn’t to strive, create, or fix what God has already completed; it’s to faithfully steward, tend, and keep what He has entrusted to us.
What a relief to know that God has already gone before you. 🙌

The Advantage of His Departure
Devotional
Jesus shocked His disciples when He said it was better for Him to leave. How could losing the physical presence of the Son of God be advantageous? The answer lies in what His departure made possible - the coming of the Holy Spirit. While Jesus was limited to one location at a time, the Holy Spirit could dwell within every believer simultaneously. This wasn't a consolation prize; it was an upgrade. Sometimes what feels like loss in our lives is actually God positioning us for something greater. That job that ended, that relationship that didn't work out, that door that closed - these might be God's way of preparing space for His better plan. When we resist necessary endings, we can miss divine beginnings. Trust that God's timing includes both departures and arrivals, and both serve His perfect purpose in your life.
