VeinViewer uses harmless near-infrared (NIR) light, very similar to pulse oximetry, which is flooded down on to the patient’s skin surface. See if a vein rolls.
The VeinViewer family is a non-invasive, electro-optical visual aid device designed to detect superficial blood under the skin, and project an image of that blood pattern onto the surface of the skin.
