RECIPE BELOW👇Baked feta cheese is the easiest and most delicious dip ever. Like, just trust me. PERFECT for new years 🥳

Ingredients//
8 oz block of feta
5–6 cherry tomatoes (sliced in half)
1 head of garlic (peeled and broken into gloves)
1 small shallot (sliced)
1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes
1/3 cup fresh dill (finely chopped)
2 tbsp fresh parsley (finely chopped)
1 1/2–2 cups oil (avocado or olive)
salt and pepper (to taste)

Method//
1. Preheat oven to 400°.
2. Place block of feta in small oven-proof baking dish. Surround with tomatoes, shallots, sun-dried tomatoes, and garlic. Sprinkle dill, parsley, salt, and pepper on top. Pour oil over all ingredients until covered.
3. Baked for 35-40 minutes until bubbly and garlic is tender.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this whole social media thing. It’s kind of been annoying how much thought I’ve had to put into this, when it seemed like it started out so harmless and joyful. Now it’s just like a tool for this and that and it’s a job, scary, and now just pure chaos.

I think I will continue to post here, just my recipes, because of the group of you all that have been so supportive to me. I want you to know and have my recipes. However I won’t be using this app much. I will be using YouTube and blue sky mainly I think for the things I used to use this place for.

Anyways, take that how you will! These are some sourdough discard cinnamon rolls I’m working on, and as soon as I have the recipe down (testing another batch as we speak) you’ll get it! ❤️

So this will be an unusual post from me because I don’t LOVE asking people for help BUT - y’all help. I still have 3 of these kittens. We are taking 1 and I rehomed 1. I have been back and forth with MAS (who has been completely not helpful) and everywhere is BOOKED. I’m going to try and take care of their vet visits myself at this point because they need it. Currently they are 4 months and at this point *need* to see a vet no matter if I can get help from an organization or not. Planning to use Tractor Supply for their low prices - $90/kitten for all the kitten stuff (unless someone can tell me a lower one) and then make an apt with Spay Memphis as soon as the new schedule drops (fully booked right now not even taking apts). That’s like $60/kitten I think?

Basically what this post is about is that I’m for the first time in my life thinking about making a go fund me to help fund this. It’s not going to be outrageous so it wouldn’t be a big one but like how in the world has all of these bills fallen on my shoulders when I thought I could save 4 kittens from just making more and more kittens on the street. Trying to be a good person kinda sucks most of the time. ANYWAYS- thoughts? Is that weird? Would you donate? 🥹

Sourdough Discard Cornbread needed a permanent still moment on my feed since it’s one of my ALL time favorite recipes I’ve developed. Ever.

This cornbread is super fluffy, slightly sweet, and craaaaazy moist. It doesn’t crumble apart, that was important to me cause I low key hate that. This went through the wringer of tests, and being from the south I knew I needed to get it right.

Sourdough stuff ❤️

I’ve always loved sourdough, just ask my mom. As a kid I would get a boule of sourdough from anywhere they sold it (although it wasn’t that easy to find 20+ years ago) and I would just eat it plain and enjoy the flavor of the delicious bread. Starting this sourdough journey has been healing in ways I had no freakin clue it would be. For that I am forever grateful, and look forward to many many MANY more years of enjoying the beauty of sourdough. ❤️
