The place to be this fall is the voting booth.

The midterm election is upon us. Although Tennessee typically ranks second to last in voter turnout in off-presidential election years, the first day of early voting showed a strong commitment to voting this time around.

In Tennessee this year a U.S. Senate seat and the gubernatorial seat are on the ballot, along with various legislative races and in Memphis several important local issues.

The most important matter, though, is whether or not registered voters decide to take the time to actually vote. Early voting goes through November 1. The actual election day is November 6.

We urge you to exercise your right and privilege and go cast your ballot.

Vote as if the future depends on it (because it does).
