Croix, Virgin Islands bake for me and my siblings. I work to provide the best baked goods you will ever have. Our goal is to become a full service bakery and leave you with an experience that is more than a craving for another treat but everything a bakery has to offer!

Our Story
The name "Dough Rye Mi" is an ode to three things: Dough - a key component of our bakes, Rye - a classic loaf of bread, bread being one of our favorite things to bake, and Mi - meaning "me" in spanish, celebrating the many cultural influences driving our bakery.
Dough Rye Mi was founded in 2020 by Brianna A. Hodges, a self-made baker and cook from Mississippi. Her whole life, Brianna has been surrounded by amazing cooks where an unyielding appreciation for food and culture was born and continues to grow to this day. Inspired by this passion, DRM is committed to providing the freshest, handmade confections.
As mentioned above, our vast selection is derived from many different cultural influences around the globe such as French, Dutch, Swedish, English, Latin, German and so much more. We believe in embracing all cultures and showcasing them through tasty treats.
We are more than a bakery. Our mission is to educate and spread love through extraordinary baked goods. Although, most of our selection consists of familiar bakery sweets, we also have other not-so-familiar options inspired by customs around the globe. It is our hope to leave you with an experience like no other.
