Full circle doesn’t even begin to explain it.

I auditioned for this team seven times. I had two full seasons where I didn’t make it — sat in the audience, cheered friends on, held my breath, wiped my tears, and got back up again. But I never gave up.

To now be standing in the room as a co-choreographer and assistant for the very audition that molded me into the dancer I am today? It’s surreal. It’s humbling. It’s everything.

Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to help lead the next generation of Grizz Girls — a team that will always have my heart. Thank you to Memphis for consistently showing up for me in ways I never even asked for. This city is home. This team is part of my story. This experience is a dream realized.

And to my Big League babies… Y’ALL DID THAT. Every single one of you made it to finals. I’m so proud I could scream. I cannot wait to see how you attack bootcamp — you’re already walking proof that faith, hard work, and heart will open doors.

To anyone feeling delayed, discouraged, or defeated — let this moment be your reminder that sometimes, the “no” is just making room for a bigger “yes” down the line.
