Today’s lesson focused on introducing students to HTML and the basics of web development. Students learned what HTML is, how it structures web content, and how websites are created. They built their own basic webpages, practiced creating hyperlinks, added images, and explored CSS fundamentals to customize the appearance of their sites. It was exciting to see their creativity and problem-solving skills as they brought their webpages to life. This hands-on experience provided a strong foundation for future web development projects.
🎮 Recap of Today’s Game Development Lesson 🎮
Today, students explored the world of game design using Flo Lab! We started by discussing what a computer really is and discovered that computing concepts go far beyond electronic devices.
Students learned about:💡 Input, Processing, Output & Storage🎨 Sprites, Types & Names⚙️ Physics, Friction & Collision Shapes🎮 Behavior Triggers & Keyboard Controls➕ Logic, Numbers & Velocity Movement
Using Flo Lab’s visual programming system, students connected keyboard inputs, number values, and velocity properties to create movement for their player sprites — bringing their games to life!
Amazing work today as students took their first steps into coding and interactive game creation! 🚀👏
Who knew a love for Minecraft would lead to a career in Engineering? That’s what happened at camp today! Campers met a real engineer and their minds were blown! From designing game worlds to design floor plans, her story is inspiring the next generation of innovators!
At STEM Camp’s Adventure Museum experience, learning became an adventure. Students faced challenges without being handed the answers, relying on curiosity, creativity, and teamwork to find solutions.
Along the way, they learned that failure isn’t the end—it’s part of the process. They adapted, problem-solved, encouraged one another, and kept going until they achieved those unforgettable breakthrough moments.
We watched confidence grow, friendships strengthen, and future innovators shine. From curiosity and persistence to collaboration and discovery, these students brought their very best—and we couldn’t be prouder.
Level unlocked! 🔑 Today in class, our students took a massive leap forward in their game design journeys. They officially learned how to add custom doors and brand-new levels to their RPG Playground editor!
From creating secret passageways to designing epic new worlds, the creativity in the room was off the charts. Watch out, gaming world—the next generation of developers is coming for you! 🚀🎮
Code? Check. AI? Check. Absolute bops? Triple check. 💻✨
Our brilliant students just wrapped up a session where they turned lines of programming blocks into custom beats and next-level remixes. We’re not just teaching tech; we’re giving creative minds a whole new instrument.
Ready to build your own video game, but don’t know how to code? Welcome to Day 1 of our RPG Playground tutorial series! Today, we’re breaking down how you can create your very first role-playing game right from your web browser using a completely drag-and-drop platform. No coding required. None. Zero.
In this beginner-friendly guide, you’ll learn:
👤 How to customize Actors (names, looks, and direction)
⚔️ Combat & Health basics (setting up heroes vs. villains)
💬 Behaviors & Actions (making NPCs talk, patrol, and hand out quests)
🤔 Player Choices (giving your players real decisions)
Every great game begins with a single character and a spark of imagination. Let’s start creating! 🚀

From coding to critical thinking! 💻✨ Today, our students stepped into the shoes of machine learning engineers using Google’s Teachable Machine. 🤖
They learned firsthand that AI is only as good as the data you give it—clear data equals smart AI, but messy data equals mistakes! 📉 But they didn’t stop at the tech. They tackled the big question: Should AI be allowed to make decisions that affect human lives? 🧠⚖️
From healthcare to policing, the future of AI is being written today, and these students are ready to shape it.
👇 What do you think? Should AI make hiring or healthcare decisions? Let’s debate in the comments!
Turning into one day at a time through
🚀 In just 30 minutes, our students went from beginners to game creators.
Today, we used Microsoft’s coding platform to build fully playable games from scratch—no long lectures, no waiting weeks to see results. Students were designing, testing, debugging, and improving their games in real time.
By the end of class, every student had something that actually worked: a game they built themselves. 🎮
One of the best parts was watching students test each other’s creations, give feedback, make improvements, and celebrate when their ideas came to life. The energy in the room was incredible.
To top it off, students generated QR codes for their games so they could take them home, share them with family and friends, and proudly showcase what they created.
Because coding is about more than learning syntax. It’s about creativity, problem-solving, ownership, and confidence.
Today wasn’t just a coding lesson—it was proof that with the right tools and guidance, students can create something meaningful in under 30 minutes. 💡✨
