The Mile High City just got a little more KQ! Our President & CEO, Renee Malone, visited Denver last week and we couldn't be more excited about the conversations that happened!
One of the things we love most about this work is the opportunity to connect with new and potential clients face to face, learning about their missions, understanding their needs, and showing up ready to deliver.

We were honored to have our Chief of Client Services, Joyce McKinney, present on Strategic Communications as a Health Tool during a virtual workshop hosted by Morehouse School of Medicine last Thursday.
Thank you to the team at Satcher Health Leadership Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine for the invitation. Strategic communication is not only about messaging, it's about impact. When leaders and health professionals communicate with clarity and intention, they're better equipped to build trust, drive change, and improve the well-being of the communities they serve.
At KQ Communications, we believe that the right words, delivered the right way, are a powerful tool for progress. We're grateful to partner with organizations doing this important work.

Great teams don't happen by accident. ✨
They're built on trust, intentionality, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way. At the heart of everything we do is a simple but powerful mission: good work for good people, everywhere. That means showing up for every client with the same energy, the same care, and the same research-based approach that drives real, lasting results. When you work with a team that is as invested in your mission as you are, the difference is felt. We don't just deliver work, we build relationships, ask the right questions, and craft strategies grounded in research and centered around you. That's what makes a great team. And that's exactly what we bring to the table. 💙

This morning, our President & CEO, Renee Malone, had the honor of presenting to participants of the inaugural WBENC ORV Business Accelerator, a virtual, multi-session program through the Women's Business Enterprise Council Ohio River Valley designed to help small businesses strengthen their foundations and scale their operations.
One of the things we talk about often at KQ Communications is the importance of meeting people where they are. Sometimes that means being in the room. Sometimes it means logging on from wherever you are. What never changes is the commitment to show up fully, because our clients, our communities, and our partners deserve that.
Renee's presentation was a reminder that growth doesn't happen in isolation. It happens when experienced businesses reach back, share what they've learned, and invest in the success of others. That's what community looks like. That's what partnership looks like.
We are a proud WBENC member and certified, and we're grateful for an organization that creates spaces for businesses to learn, connect, and grow together.

We are incredibly proud to share that our VP of Digital Services, Moses Everett, has been published in Graphic Design USA magazine! 🎉 In a powerful and timely piece, he dives into one of the most important conversations in our industry right now: upholding cultural understanding in the age of AI. With 99% of creative professionals now using generative AI, the question is no longer whether we use it, but how responsibly we do. His article explores the very real risks of bias in AI-generated content, the critical lack of diversity in STEM and tech roles, and why human creativity, cultural awareness, and inclusive storytelling can never be replaced by a prompt.
This is exactly the kind of thought leadership that drives everything we do at KQ Communications. We believe diversity advances innovation in every industry, every organization, and every community. We are so proud to see that conviction reflected on a national platform. Give it a read and let us know what you think! 🔗 https://gdusa.com/creative-commentary-the-risk-of-cultural-bias-in-ai/

🎓 Congratulations to the Cromwell kindergarten Class of 2026. Watching you cross that stage, beaming with pride, was a moment none of us will soon forget. Investing in the youngest members of our community is one of the most meaningful things we can do, and celebrations like this one are a powerful reminder of why that work matters. As a proud Adopt-A-School partner of Cromwell Elementary, we were truly honored to be included in such an important milestone. Wishing each and every graduate a future as bright as their smiles. 🌟

Behind the scenes at LeMoyne-Owen College, and honestly, moments like these never get old. 🙌
There is something truly special about the work we get to do alongside clients who are making a real difference, not just in Memphis, but in communities across the nation. Institutions like LeMoyne-Owen College have been shaping lives and building futures for generations, and being even a small part of that story is something we do not take for granted.
From local campuses to national partners, every client we serve reminds us of the bigger picture and the responsibility we have to show up and do our best work every single time. We are grateful, we are inspired, and we are proud. 💙

From Raleigh, NC to Birmingham, AL, our Chief of Client Services, Joyce McKinney, has been putting in the miles, and the meaning. Showing up isn't just a courtesy, it's a commitment. Real relationships aren't built over email threads or Zoom calls alone; they're built face-to-face, in the same room, at the same table. Joyce embodies what it means to truly serve your clients, going where they are, celebrating alongside them, and reminding them that they're never just an account to us. They're partners. And partners show up.
