June 18 is National Internet Cat Day!

Today is a fun holiday, that recognizes the immense presence of cats on the internet! Though it is not possible to get an exact number, CNN estimated (in 2015) that there are more 6.5 billion pictures of cats on the internet. Imagine what that number is today, over a decade later!

Celebrate the day by posting your cat somewhere, or watching a funny feline video!

A popular lesson is TinkerCAD for 3D Printing. Students will learn how to create a CAD design suitable for 3D printing. Programming of the CAD design is done in TinkerCAD. Design of a keychain with the student’s name or initials is the initial project. The process of taking a TinkerCAD design to a 3D printer will be discussed, but printing is not part of this lesson.

If the student completes a 3D design (restrictions apply), then it may be printed on our 3D printer at another time. Please call for further information about this.
