Today we’re celebrating all the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who support the music—and the musicians—we love.

We couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

🎂 Happy Birthday to the only person we know who can turn a 5-minute rehearsal break into a 20-minute story. 😏🎶

Thank you, Maestro Mark (Mark Nelson), for your passion, leadership, endless musical knowledge, and approximately 47,000 “one more times” over the years.

We’re grateful for everything you do for MCO and for the countless musicians whose lives you’ve touched throughout your career.

What an incredible way to end our Come Fly Away season.

From the colonial sounds of our fife & drum preshow to the soaring finale of Copland’s Symphony No. 3, last night’s concert was a celebration of America, community, and the joy of making music together.

To our musicians, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and audience members: thank you. Your support allows us to continue bringing free live orchestral music to Brevard County and building something truly special together.

As we look back on a season filled with adventure, mystery, imagination, and unforgettable music, we’re also looking ahead to Season 37: Getting to Know You.

But before we do that, let’s take one last look at some memories from an amazing night.

When Tower wrote Made in America, she wrote it for community orchestras—musicians from different backgrounds coming together to create something bigger than themselves.
