Florida Tech's Evans Library provides the information, resources, and services you need to be a successful Panther. The Harry P. Link, Maj. Gen.
The Evans Library and Learning Commons provides information resources and assistance to students and researchers in all Florida Tech disciplines, in a welcoming environment, in-person and online. Open study spaces, a teaching auditorium, and reservable multimedia rooms encourage collaborative learning, and our technology lending program enables students to access, share, and present information campus-wide. The university’s Applied Computing Center offers a 50-computer lab complete with high-speed Internet access, digital video processing, and a full suite of academic and statistical analysis software, and the Academic Support Center’s tutoring services and study groups are invaluable to student success. Bibliographic resources include over 100 databases with access to journal articles, eBooks, conference proceedings, and other scholarly periodicals; curriculum-focused print and multimedia collections; and government documents provided via participation in the Federal Depository Library Program. Weber University Archives and Historical Timeline document Florida Tech’s history, and special collections include the papers of Edwin A. Bruce Medaris, and poet laureate Edmund Skellings. FIT researchers’ scholarly papers, theses, and dissertations are collected and distributed through the open-access Scholarship Repository at Florida Tech. Professional librarians and friendly staff are committed to guiding students through the research process with expertise, and offer reference service and research assistance both in the library and online via chat and email. Course-integrated, for-credit, and informal instruction is offered year-round by dedicated instruction librarians, both on campus and on the library website https://lib.fit.edu/instruction/workshops.php

The All Majors Career Fair is in one week! Please start printing your resumes sooner rather than waiting until the day of! Delaying it until the day of the fair will mean long lines for the printers and extra stress.
And as a reminder we do not have specialty paper for printing your resumes. If you are interested in that, check out the Florida Tech CopyCenter

🍕📖Good news! Book Club is starting back up and our first meeting is this Wednesday, September 2nd at 6:30pm in the Link Room. And if you read even ONE (1!) book this summer, come out and enjoy the delicious reward of free pizza! (If you’ve ever heard of the Book It program, you know.) Please RSVP on Engage so we know how much pizza to order.
Book Club will be meeting the first Wednesday of each month. In the future we will read books together and do other fun activities, but this meeting is all about eating pizza, discussing books, and meeting new members!
