Forgot to post this last week...so, one of the reasons I wanted to learn how to crochet was to make a little tribute cat for Magic. I bought a small crochet black cat at a craft table at a street fair in Pendleton, Indiana when we got back to the East Coast after we had her put to sleep in 2015. I tried to teach myself to crochet then, failed, got frustrated and quit. Fast forward to 2022, my fingers started hurting constantly and I was more determined to learn how to crochet to keep them limber...most of you know I was way more successful at that attempt, as many of you have one of my crochet critters in your own home. So, I finally decided on a pattern to use to make me a Magic-al critter. Magic was all black with golden eyes, so I decided to nod to her crossing the Rainbow Bridge by giving her rainbow nose and whiskers. What do you think?

Did some resin pours last week and I am SO excited with how these turned out! I used Mixed Media Girl's new Mystic Mermaid mica powder and it is the best color shift effect I have gotten! (I also use her resin!) I got the dragon mold for Christmas and I can't wait to make all the dragons!

Flamingabread Bird? Gingamingo?! Not sure what to call it, but I made a flamingo dressed for Christmas! I used some elements from the gingerbread man I made last week and made a gingerbread flamingo! I didn't craft and crochet as much as I wanted this year, but I am determined to get back to what I love next year!

Gave him a smile and some pastel sprinkles! 🥰

Decided I wanted to try some gingerbread pals this holiday season. Found this pattern from and made it over the last couple days. Still deciding if I want to add the sprinkles to the frosting cap that the pattern has and if I want to add a mouth...what do you think?

Been back to creating with resin! Had these two pumpkin ideas I wanted to try and I love how each turned out! I also made a couple sets of dice, need to get the numbers on them and then will post. And I'm starting to make some snowflakes for garland I want to make.

Finally finished my first impkin from awesome book, Crochet Impkins. There were so many choices and options and I used a little bit of everything!

Another pillow done! Made for a great friend for her special milestone! I'm having so much fun painting pillows this year! Maybe next I'll finally get to the pillow I want to make for my 25th anniversary! 😆
