The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. is a nonprofit veterans’ service organization composed of combat veterans and eligible military service members.
The VFW traces its roots back to 1899 when veterans of the Spanish-American War (1898) and the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902) founded local organizations to secure rights and benefits for their service: Many arrived home wounded or sick. Army Birthday Celebration at VFW Post 4206 recognized all Army service members today. Commander Gary D Clark had Army Veteran Mr Warren cut the first slice of cake while members and guests were there to support. ARMY STRONG!!!!
