We’ve had a couple families reach out this week about our middle school cohort, ages 11-13. If you’re still discerning a Christ‑centered home‑education community for this age range, we’d love to see this program full.

This cohort engages deeply with the integrated liberal arts of history, theology, science, civics, foreign language, the arts and more; everything except math and English, which families continue at home. It’s a peaceful, multi‑age environment where students grow through shared worship, disciplined study, and daily formation.

We are preparing to launch a small, cohort‑style high school program this year called The Lyceum Fellowship. This is a four‑year journey toward wisdom, leadership, and faithful influence.

This program is built around four enduring questions every young adult must learn to answer:
What is a good person?
What is a good society?
What makes a people free?
What is a life well‑lived?

Students explore these questions through the Great Books, Scripture, mentored discussion, and a four‑year vocation project that helps them discern how God has uniquely called them to serve. It’s a deeply relational, academically rich, and spiritually formative model designed for students who want more than traditional high school coursework.

We have a unique opportunity to begin our inaugural cohort this fall, guided by an experienced director relocating to Brevard. Because the Lyceum is intentionally small and community‑based, we are opening conversations with families who may be a strong fit for this founding year.

If your student is 13-15yr olds and is seeking:
• deeper conversations
• meaningful mentorship
• a Christ‑centered community
• rigorous but relational learning
• clarity about calling and purpose

I love reflecting on the wishes of our founding fathers. John Adam’s believed this “Day of Deliverance” should begin with devotion to God Almighty. 🙌

I’m grateful for this nation, for the generations who stewarded liberty before us, and for the opportunity to launch a community rooted in truth, beauty, and virtue here in Brevard. I don’t take for granted that this isn’t allowed in many parts of the world.

As Cornerstone Classical begins its first year, we’re praying that our children grow not only in knowledge, but in wisdom, wonder, and a deep love for what is good.
