HOT NIGHT FOR A RACE!
Congratulations to all the runners competing in stifling conditions this evening in the Media 5 Mile Race.
I got there in time to watch my husband, pictured here, race. He ended up winning his age group (you go, Greg!) Fortunately, we will finally get a break from the oppressive heat and humidity this weekend, although Sunday night looks potentially very stormy! Have a great weekend, my friends

Mandy is a lovable two year old mix from Georgia who gave birth to a litter of puppies at All Mutts Matter Rescue. Her pups have all been adopted, but Mandy is still awaiting her forever home. WHITE BLAZER AWARD
My apologies for this mom brag post, but super proud of Emma being named The Agnes Irwin School White Blazer Award recipient as the outstanding athlete in the senior class. The recipient exhibits a unique combination of athleticism and mental toughness, and she consistently displays the ideals of sportsmanship and leadership. To be eligible for this award, she must embrace all aspects of competitive play and must have attained four Varsity letters during her junior and senior years.

CONGRATULATIONS, EMMA!
So proud of my daughter, Emma, graduating from high school with athletic and academic honors. So great having our West Coast relatives join in on the festivities. Next up, Washington and Lee University!
