Freya Systems turns 17!

Ben Johnson came to the US from England in 2004 to manage defense projects for BAE Systems. Five years later he started Freya Systems in Media, PA. That was 17 years ago this month.

We started with software consulting and built out from there as our clients' problems changed: data analytics, then machine learning, now AI strategy and fractional CTO work.

It has always been about the data. And we have always asked the same question before writing a line of code. What's the return? Because that's what data actually buys you. Time and money.

Thanks to the clients in aviation, defense, utilities, and manufacturing who keep bringing us interesting problems. That's still our favorite kind of work.

Twenty-five years ago today, thousands of lives were lost and thousands of people ran toward the danger to save them.

That is what we remember. That is what we honor.

This year's PMAA theme is Ideas in Motion, which lands pretty close to how we think about data.
