The Philadelphia Catholic League is your 2026 Carpenter Cup Champions 🏆

The PCL took down Team Delco 5-0 to win their fourth Carpenter Cup Championship (1987, 1990, 2005) while allowing just two hits in the win to complete a 4-0 tournament.

Bonner's Jake Gorman and Devon Prep's Johnny Doogan both threw well for the PCL, while Doogan and O'Hara's Connor Clark drove in runs

For just the second time ever, Delco is going to the Carpenter Cup Championship ‼️

Trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh, a pair of Garnet Valley Jaguars saved the day as Kyle Klein's single tied the game, and Cole Lombardo's walk-off single ends it.

Austin Havertine, Jimmy Boyle, Lucas Rothstein and Brian Heck combined for 16 strikeouts in the win on the mound.

Delco will look to win their first Carpenter Cup Championship on Monday at 3:00 at FDR Park against the winner of this afternoon's Philadelphia Catholic League vs Jersey Shore game.

Team Delco is moving on to the Carpenter Cup semifinals ‼️

The pitching was once again stellar for Delco, with Austin Havertine (Radnor) and Blake Havertine (Radnor) both throwing two scoreless innings, while Brian Heck (Lower Merion), Lucas Rothstein (Haverford) and Travis McDonough (Strath Haven) all threw an inning each with no earned runs.

Cole Hoffacker (Garnet Valley) had two hits to lead the offense, while Blake Havertine, Connor Musumeci (Strath Haven), Zach Gordon (Garnet Valley) and Nick Dragut (Lower Merion) all drove in runs.

Delco will now take on Olympic-Colonial (NJ) at FDR Park on Saturday at 1:00 for the semifinals.

The game was tied in the top of the eighth until Aiden Wong's (Ridley) RBI single broke the tie, and Kyle Klein's (Garnet Valley) two-run single put the game away to send Delco to the next round where they will face Berks County on Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Camden Athletic Fields.
