The more I learn about the calendar and the solstice and winter, the less sense it makes that our society has chosen January as the month when we start new habits and create aggressive goals. Perhaps we should be more gentle with ourselves in the winter. We can hibernate and then, when we’re ready, we’ll emerge, refreshed and renewed.

Day 3 of January lettering challenge

“New Year, New You” is a garbage marketing technique designed to make you think there’s something wrong with who you inherently are. Is self improvement great? Of course. Is it meant to change who we are as humans? No way.

So for today’s lettering challenge from , I’ve opted for a slight variation from the prompt, and added some additional “billboards”
