Purely His

When abuse comes to light, the story often gets flipped.

The focus shifts from those who were harmed to protecting the reputation of the one who caused the harm. Suddenly, accountability is called persecution. Consequences are framed as spiritual attack. And the person being held responsible is recast as the victim.

But calling it that does not make it true.

Naming abuse is not an attack. Telling the truth is not division. And holding leaders accountable is not “coming against God’s anointed.” It is what integrity requires.

If our first instinct is to defend power instead of protect people, we have already lost sight of the heart of Jesus.

Accountability is not the enemy of the Church. It is one of the ways the Church becomes safe, honest, and whole again.

We need more leaders who are willing to tell the truth, take responsibility, and prioritize the healing of those who were harmed.

I wanted to give an update on a vehicle; a van that I had which I thought was needing to be taken to the junk yard ended up being able to be started and driven. Some wonderful friends of mine were able to drive it to be looked at to see what needs fixed on it.

We are still prayerfully seeking a place to live and work for me.

Cover up culture in the church is a disgusting practice full of cowardice. They are protecting their own reputations verses serving and protecting the victims of these predators. The body of Christ needs to be warned by leaders so that victims can get the healing they need and potential victims will be made aware so they can avoid these people. Good job Mike Winger! You give victims the courage to uncover what’s been covered.

This type of cover up is exactly what’s been been happening with Scott Bradley at 5Rock Ranch in Yamhill Oregon. The Bible says we only need two or three witnesses but I know of THIRTEEN that have come forward and I know many more that are still too afraid to come forward. I wonder how many victims he actually has? STOP protecting WOLVES.

Did you know that my little sister used to call me "preacher girl" when we were young? I believed in Jesus even though I didn't live for Him until I was 30. She used to believe that we were an alien experiment and there was no such thing as Jesus.

But she doesn't believe that anymore. She's a full on Jesus freak through and through just like I am! Once you have a real encounter with Jesus and you know that He is willing to die for you and save you from your sin, yourself and Hell...EVERYTHING CHANGES. No one has to make us not do drugs anymore, no one has to make us not sleep around, no one has to make us not commit crimes.

Our obedience for Jesus is spurred on by His genuine love of us. He truly is the reason for the season. Merry Christmas everyone!
