When community comes together, healing happens.
We were honored to attend Max’s Mission’s 2nd Annual Purple Chair Event this past weekend where participants painted and decorated chairs in memory of someone lost to overdose or fentanyl poisoning.

The decorated chairs will be set out at the 10th Annual Overdose Awareness Day on Saturday, Sept. 26 in remembrance of loved ones lost, symbolizing the empty chairs families face from overdose loss.

WinterSpring will be there with a resource table. We will also have a separate tent where our facilitators will hold a circle. This is open to anyone in attendance.

Max’s Mission is a local organization that helps to raise awareness about overdose and distributes and holds trainings on how to administer Naloxone.

Hands and happy faces hard at work making a piñata!

WinterSpring is excited to be participating in Piñatas de Esperanza, a gallery exhibition, community contest, and fundraiser happening October 1-3 in downtown Talent.

Brought to you by Adelante Community Partners and the Talent Business Alliance, this competition is happening alongside the Talent Harvest Festival and the Hispanic Heritage Celebration.

We are thrilled to participate!

WinterSpring is currently enrolling our Fall Peer Support Grief Groups for Adults.
We also hold two virtual groups. Every group is free of charge and requires registration.

We are at the phones Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. We operate with a small team, so if we don't answer please leave a voicemail with a good day/time to call back.

WinterSpring is not a crisis service and aim to return most calls within three business days.

Our mission is that no one will have to grieve alone, including kids and teens.

As WinterSpring Manager Nancy Roberts shares with Mike Green at Jefferson Public Radio, our school programs are expanding to offer more support to the young hearts who need it.

More Southern Oregon students can get grief support at school WinterSpring has doubled its school-based grief support program, bringing free peer groups to 15 elementary, middle and high schools in Southern Oregon.

This month Mo(u)rning Coffee will be hosted at Chevy Way on July 6 and 13.

Mo(u)rning Coffee is a free, drop-in group in Medford that offers chance to connect with other adults while navigating grief.

People 18 and older who are at least two months past a significant loss are invited to come together for coffee, tea, and community. Come if you can, when you can.

Please use The Learning Well entrance facing Aviation Way. Look for the single glass door with the small blue awning.
