Have a passion for helping people? Creating Community Impact is looking for an experienced caregiver or a CNA. to assist with the care of the individuals we support. The person we are looking for will bring a passion for helping others. Our caregivers share warm smiles while providing care. Creating Community Impact has an immediate opening for a Direct Support Professional located in the Grants Pass, Oregon area working with a medically fragile adult man. He lives in a family setting with his own living area designed for his needs.
We also might have other clients in this area who would need supports.

Our caregiver/DSPs provide direct care by recognizing individual needs, encouraging independence, and treating everyone with respect and dignity. You will be there to nurture the individual in their home and assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs. Our caregiver/DSPs’ complete various duties such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, cooking, laundry and dishes. Additionally, they provide trained medical care such as giving medications, following various health protocols such as protocols for seizures, dehydration, etc. Community integration is an integral part of this client’s life. This includes trips to the park, drives around town and by the river, shopping, arcade trips, etc.
The ideal individual will be willing to work a flexible schedule. Shifts may include some evening, weekend or splits shifts.

HIRING BONUS! Creating Community Impact has an immediate opening located in the Medford, Oregon area working with a medically fragile adult man. He lives in a serene relaxed environment in an apartment that was built specially for him. The shifts are Wednesday night 12AM to 8AM; Saturday 8AM to 4PM and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. Additional shifts may be available. CNA Experience a plus. Paid training is provided. $19 an hour. Additional bonus by June 30 2022. Raise after a year! Covid-19 vaccine not required.
Minimum requirements include: a valid Oregon driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, must pass a criminal history background check. Regular weekly shifts.
