Coming to 1425 Trollingwood-Hawfields Road, this 74,000 sq. ft. landmark will bring 200 full-time jobs and a whole lot of Beaver Nuggets to our community.

World Oceans Day: Protecting Our Blue Planet

Every year on World Oceans Day, we celebrate the vast oceans that cover more than 70% of our planet and sustain life on Earth. Oceans play a critical role in regulating the climate, producing over half of the world's oxygen, supporting biodiversity, and providing food and livelihoods for billions of people.

Despite their importance, marine ecosystems face growing threats from plastic pollution, overfishing, habitat destruction, and climate change. Coral reefs are declining, marine species are losing their habitats, and ocean health is being compromised at an alarming rate.

World Oceans Day is a reminder that protecting our oceans is a shared responsibility. Simple actions such as reducing plastic use, supporting sustainable seafood practices, participating in beach cleanups, and advocating for marine conservation policies can make a meaningful difference.
