Starberry Acres

Immediate opportunity at a high end hunter/jumper show barn in Mebane area. We are currently looking for someone to join our team. Qualified candidate has experience in day to day show barn operations and general horse care. Including feeding, cleaning stalls, barn and farm maintenance, mowing, w**d wacking, fixing fences. Looking for reliable person who can think and who wants to work. Salary is dependant upon experience. Must be willing to work weekends. Housing potentially available.

ISO of help with morning chores at our farm in Mebane, NC. Tasks included but not limited to, mucking stalls, cleaning water buckets and troughs and giving fresh water, sweeping aisleway and rebedding stalls.

Must have a willingness to work, equone experience, reliable transportation and no drugs! Potential to work into more hours and responsibilities.

The past week at GLEF was a success! Some highlights include:

Charlotte Clark aboard Encore securing a 3rd in the THIS, a 4th in the USHJA Jump Seat, and a 5th in the Hamel
Kaitlyn Berly and Early Times earning a 1st and a 2nd in the Younger Childrens
Wendy Luce and Canada grabbing and 3rd in a .85 Child/Adult
And so many great rides!!

What a week! Starberry Acres took NCHJA by storm!!
In the hunter ring:
Zoe Pan and Captivo took the Older Childrens Champion title while Charlotte Clark and Bravo took the Reserve
In the EJ Haun 2023 Qualifier Charlotte Clark was 2nd and Kaitlyn Berly was 3rd
Charlotte Clark also earned a 3rd in the Hamel and a 5th in the THIS Medal
Kaitlyn Berly and Early Times had successes in the Younger Childrens
Haley White and Alexander had great trips in the Younger Adults
Kim Boggess and Amelie went on to lay down their best courses to date

In the Jumper ring:
Destyn Rader and Pyes Piper took the Reserve ribbon in the .95s
Wendy Luce and Canada earned two 2nds in the .95s
Casey Greene and Alyssas Gem took a 3rd in the .95s and a 2nd in the .85s

And finally Congratulations to our medal finals competitors: Kaitlyn Berly placed first in the 2022 EJ Haun Finals as well as her mount See Ya Sunday receiving the 007 trophy for “Most Suitable Equitation Horse”
Zoe Pan and Captivo secured the 2022 NCHJA Childrens Medal Final win
Charlotte Clark and Encore had a beautiful EJ Haun Finals round

The most thanks to Amber and Destyn for the best care and Bev and Kalin for the best training!

Despite the heat, Starberry had a blast at Aiken Summer Classic!

Haley White and Alexander stepped up to do their first Adult Amateur division together, and had fabulous trips
Charlotte Clark earned a 3rd in the Hamel on Enocre
Zoe Pan and Captivo were 4th in the Childrens Classic and 2nd in the THIS
Kaitlyn Berly and Early Times had high placing rounds in the Younger Childrens
Kaitlyn Berly and Startin’ Monday picked up a 4th in both the Hamel and THIS, and a 2nd in the USHJA Hunt Seat Medal
Wendy Luce completed her last show with long time parter What a Dream and her first show with her new horse Canada
