You've Got Mail! MCCF Spring/Summer Newsletter MCCF recently awarded our Summer 2026 Grant Funds. Our grantees did not know they had received a grant yet when we showed up with our big check. We had everything from shock, smiles, to even happy tears. It was a great couple days for us!

If you missed the groundbreaking at the Meade Food Bank this morning, check this out from KJIL. The Meade Food Bank has been a recipient of MCCF grants many times over the past several years. Most recently, MCCF has covered their utility bills at their current temporary location.

THIS is why Match Month is so important. All funds raised from October 12-November 12 will be matched by The Patterson Family Foundation. Half of these funds go to immediate grants for projects like this!

Starting last week, MCCF awarded our Summer 2026 Grant Funds. We had so much fun when we surprised our firefighters with their checks, we decided to do it again! Our grantees did not know they had received a grant yet when we showed up with our big check. We had everything from shock, smiles, to even happy tears. It was a great couple days for us!

The total funded for this round was $15,390. Between both grant cycles and our special fire department grants, MCCF has granted over $68,000 for 2026 alone and nearly $145,000 all time. We are so thankful to all of our incredible donors and partners that allow this to happen! The Patterson Family Foundation match is a huge component in this too. Without Match Month, we would not be able to do grants at the scale we have been able to the last few years.

The Meade County Conservation District received a special grant funded by the Western Kansas Community Foundation. This is another partnership we are so proud of. Thank you for making this happen!

Nonprofits, we cannot wait to see what you do for your grant funds! Thank you for all you do for our Meade County residents!
