Meade County Disposal - Kansas

Labor Day Holiday: a special holiday on the first Monday of September to say a giant "thank you" to all the workers who help our communities run.

With that beings said, Meade County Disposal will not be running Labor Day - Monday September 7th. The disposal routes will start Tuesday with Monday's routes and should have 3 trucks up and running to get caught up as quickly as possible. Have your trash out on your regular pickup day in preperation and the guys will be there as quickly as they can.

Sorry for the late notice, Meade County Disposal will not run Friday July 3rd in observance of Independence Day. Most Friday routes are being ran Thursday, any out of town Friday pickups are being picked up Wednesday.

Meade County Disposal will be closed in observance of Juneteenth on Friday June 19. Friday routes plan to be ran Thursday June 18.
Please let your neighbors know.

Monday May 25th is Memorial Day! Meade County Disposal will not be running that day. Trash pickup will begin Tuesday the 26th with Monday's route. They will have 3 trucks running that day to catch up as quickly as possible.

Please note that Meade County Disposal will not be running in observance of Presidents day Monday February 16th.
All Monday routes will be ran on Tuesday 2/17. They will also run Tuesdays routes may just be later in the day.
Please be safe and have all Monday Tuesday trash out by Tuesday am.
Meade - all North side of town will be picked up Tuesday 2/17
Plains - Monday route will be Tuesday 2/17
Fowler - Tuesday route will be Tuesday 2/17 as normal

Meade Disposal Trucks are jelled up this morning due to the cold weather. The guys are trying to get them up and running ASAP but will probably be tomorrow before we can get started! Routes will be run as quickly as possible starting with Monday.

Meade County Disposal will not be running Monday Jan 19th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Monday routes for Meade and Plains will be picked up Tuesday 1/20/26 along with Tuesdays routes.

Meade County Disposal will not be running Thursday 1/1/26 in observation of the New Year's Day holiday. Thursdays service will be picked up the following day, Friday 1/2/26. Have a happy & safe holiday!

Meade County Disposal will not run on Wednesday December 24th (Christmas Eve) and Thursday December 25th (Christmas day). Trucks will be running on Friday December 26th.

For Meade and Plains Wednesday 24th trash will be picked up Tuesday Dec 23rd along with Tuesday’s regular service.
For Meade’s Thursday 25th route will be picked up on Friday December 26th along w/the regular Friday route.
