Transparent Hands has been organizing life-saving flood relief camps across the country, restoring health and hope in the most deserving communities. With the sponsorship of The Soorty CSR, we held a highly impactful camp in Jalalpur Pirwala, Multan, on November 28, 2025. The floods had drowned large areas of this city and many families were awaiting relief.
• Total patients treated: 922
• Total diagnostic tests provided: 441
Besides providing free first aid, check-ups by expert doctors, medicines, and diagnostic tests, we also took steps to help the survivors with other essentials:
• 60 blankets were distributed
• 60 families received tents
• 360 victims received food

Every year, Transparent Hands takes new steps to bring free surgical and medical care to an increasing number of underprivileged patients and low-income communities in Pakistan. Recently, we signed two key MoUs with 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 (𝐂𝐏𝐓𝐇) on 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. Under the first of these agreements, we'll collaborate to organize multiple free medical camps and preventive healthcare sessions in Lahore and Kasur. We also stepped into an updated agreement with CPTH to provide free surgeries and medical treatments to deserving patients.

FREE HEALTHCARE TREATMENTS FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT AFFORD

More than 80 million people in Pakistan are living below the poverty line due to which they are unable to undergo proper health treatment if they suffer from any disease. Estimated number of surgery backlog in Pakistan is in millions every year.

There are not many health insurance plans for underprivileged community due to which, majority of the people are unable to undergo medical or surgical treatment.

Beyond the cost of medical and surgical procedures, they have to pay for other expenses such as pre and post-operative expenses which include; medical tests, medications and hospital stay. It is almost impossible for someone who earns less than $2 a day to pay hefty amount for medical relief.

There is lack of medical facilities and medical professionals in rural areas across Pakistan due to which, poverty-stricken families are unable to avail required treatment.

There are a limited number of beds in local hospitals which are not enough to cater to the healthcare needs of underprivileged community.

Every second patient including a child is put on a long waiting list for free treatment and during the waiting period, the patient’s health further deteriorates. In most of the cases, patients expire until their turn comes.

Private hospitals are out of the reach for lower income class families due to the high costs of consultation fees and medical & surgical procedures.

COMMITTED TO PROVIDE FREE HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO PEOPLE IN NEED ACROSS PAKISTAN

Transparent Hands is a non-profit organization which is tackling this major healthcare issue of Pakistan with the help of fundraising through its unique Crowdfunding platform. It is registered under Trust Act 1882 as a Trust Organization with a Tax Exemption status under the article 2(36) in Pakistan. Transparent Hands is registered in USA EIN assigned: 47-3564801 as Transparent Hands Foundation US, Inc. with tax exemption status 501(c)3.

Transparent Hands provides free medical and surgical treatment facility to the deserving patients across Pakistan in private hospitals. It also sets up free medical camps in rural areas of the country in which free consultation, free medicines and free diagnostic tests facility is given to the needy patients and their families. Transparent Hands is also providing healthcare at doorstep through its advanced tele-health service.

Donors from all over the world can use our online Crowdfunding web portal and donate through 100% secure payment modes. They could select any patient, fund the treatment and receive regular feedback and updates until the patient is recovered completely.
