What a flight.
Alexandra Erlacher of Kellerei Andrian soared into Chain Bridge Cellars in May and delivered exactly what we promised. Pinot Grigio, Pinot Bianco, Lagrein, a stunning Chardonnay, a serious Lagrein Riserva and a sweet Gewurztraminer Passito. No fees, no seats, and plenty of thrills.

Meet the Winemaker 🍷
If you enjoy getting to know under-the-radar Italian wine regions, classics like Langhe Nebbiolo and Barolo and/or dragons, this is the tasting for you.
For Caterina Cordero, wine has always been intertwined with family. With deep familial ties to the legendary Vietti Estate in Barolo, Cordero San Giorgio represents both a continuation and an evolution of their family's winemaking story.
The "San Giorgio" name refers to the legend of Saint George and the Dragon. Put dragons and knights together and you get fireworks. Which is pretty much what these wines deliver, too!

A white wine of immense presence and depth.
The Dom Roger Perrin Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc comes from vines planted in 1921 and it shows. Peach fruit, white flowers, wild herb, sweet spice and lemon zest. Full-bodied and concentrated but fresh and flowing all the way to the finish.
For lobster rolls, seared wild mushrooms, creamy cheeses and grilled fish. Or just a glass worth savoring on its own.
