When I was a kid, I knew Shankar Mahadevan as the singer of that incredible song ‘Breathless.’ Later, he went on to sing so many songs that became my all-time favorites, like ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Kajra Re’ and many more. It seems he sang ‘Breathless’ at a very young age—and since then, his concerts feel incomplete without it.
I was literally awestruck watching him perform it live, just standing there, taking it all in.
Pure goosebumps! 🙏🏻
And hats off to Javed Akhtar for writing such a masterpiece.”
