First McKinney

When everything around us is pulling us in different directions, where do we turn for truth?

This week, we’re reminded that Jesus offers something better—a better feast, a better way, and a better foundation. His Word calls us to recognize the pressures we face, examine our own hearts, resist temptation, and live in obedience.

See you tomorrow morning at 9:15am or 10:45am as we continue our Revelation Series!

From preaching and teaching to leading, serving, encouraging, and caring for our church family, we’re grateful for the ways God has called both Sam and Chris to serve First McKinney!

🍂 October is full at First McKinney!

From growing in your faith to building community, serving others, investing in your family, and having a little fun along the way, there’s a place for you this month.

Cowboys football, good food, and a whole lot of community.

Our Cowboys Watch Party was the perfect way to spend a Sunday together! From little ones playing and making memories to friends catching up and families cheering on the Cowboys, we loved seeing our church family come together.

Thanks to everyone who joined us, Sundays are better together! 🤠🏈

Sunday was full of meaningful moments at First McKinney. 🤍

We celebrated 9 new deacons being ordained and commissioned to serve our church family, gathered around families and little ones, spent time in prayer, and shared plenty of conversations and connection in community.

What a beautiful reminder that the church is more than a Sunday gathering, it’s people faithfully serving, praying, growing, and walking together.

We’re grateful for Sundays like this.

Gather your girls and get ready for a fun afternoon of tiles, laughter, and community! Let’s Play Mahjong!

Join us Sunday, October 18th for a chance to connect with other ladies in our community, learn, play, and enjoy some good old-fashioned fun together.

Whether you’re a seasoned mahjong player or have never touched a tile, you’re invited!

Grab a friend and come play!

When you’re walking through something difficult, it can be easy to wonder, "Does anybody even know what I’m going through?”

Jesus knows.
Jesus is with you.
And Jesus wins. 🙌

Whatever today holds, you don’t have to face it alone. Hold on to these three truths from Revelation 2:8–11: Jesus knows your tribulation, He walks with His people, and the victory is already His.

➡️ Swipe through and be reminded of the hope we have in Jesus.

We’re grateful to partner with Emmanuel Labor, a local organization committed to coming alongside people experiencing homelessness through innovative projects, organizations, and people who are making a difference.

Together, we’re reminded that loving our neighbors means showing up with practical help, offering hope, and working toward home.

We’re thankful for partners like Emmanuel Labor who are helping make a difference right here in our community.
