Please note that there will be no mobile food distribution on Saturday, July 4, at First Christian Church of McKinney.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving our community again at the next scheduled distribution. Thank you for your continued support of The Samaritan Inn Food Pantry.

Please note that The Samaritan Inn Food Pantry will be closed on Friday, June 19.

If you plan to visit the pantry, please make arrangements accordingly. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving our neighbors again when normal hours resume.

The need in our community continues to grow, and thanks to the dedication of our Pantry, Donations, and Volunteer teams, The Samaritan Inn Food Pantry continues to rise to meet it. 💙

April 2026 was our highest service month ever, and these numbers reflect both the increasing need in our community and the incredible impact made possible through the support of community.

We are so grateful to everyone who helps make this work possible. Together, we are providing nourishment, stability, and hope to families across North Texas. 🥫✨

The Samaritan Inn Food Pantry is incredibly grateful to have been selected as one of the beneficiaries of this year’s Empty Bowls McKinney event! Thanks to the generosity of this incredible community, Empty Bowls raised $9,000 in support of our pantry. 💙

Thank you to every community member who showed up in support of local hunger relief efforts. It was an honor to stand alongside fellow organizations working to nourish our neighbors and strengthen our community.

At The Samaritan Inn, we see firsthand how access to food can bring stability, dignity, and hope to individuals and families facing hardship. Support from events like Empty Bowls helps make that work possible. Thank you for creating such a meaningful event that brings people together to make a difference, one bowl at a time.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚

For many individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges can be both a cause and a result of housing instability. At The Samaritan Inn, we believe healing goes beyond providing shelter. Through supportive services, counseling resources, community support, and compassionate care, we strive to help individuals and families find a path forward.

This month, we encourage our community to help break the stigma surrounding mental health and lead with empathy, understanding, and compassion. You never know what someone may be carrying.

Today we celebrate the strength, love, and resilience of mothers everywhere!
