Collin County Inmates 4.0

Per Celina Police Department:

𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐀, 𝐓𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐒 — A Houston man has been sentenced to 15 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice following a narcotics investigation conducted by the Celina Police Department.
On May 29, 2025, Celina Police officers responded to a major motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of South Preston Road. During the investigation, officers determined that Dalton Campbell, 32, had been driving recklessly, resulting in a multi-vehicle crash.
While investigating the scene, officers observed Campbell discarding items into a nearby grassy area prior to law enforcement's arrival. A subsequent search led to the discovery of multiple illegal narcotics, including methamphetamine, M**A, prescription narcotics, and various items of drug paraphernalia.
Campbell was arrested and charged with:
• Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 2 (First-Degree Felony)
• Tampering with Physical Evidence (Third-Degree Felony)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1 (State Jail Felony)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 3 (Class A Misdemeanor)
• Possession of a Dangerous Drug (Class A Misdemeanor)
Following the arrest, Celina Police detectives obtained and executed search warrants for Campbell's cellular devices. The investigation revealed evidence that Campbell was actively involved in the distribution of illegal narcotics within the community. The case was presented to the Collin County District Attorney's Office for prosecution.
Last week, Campbell entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to 15 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
