Yacht Rock has become one of the trendiest music genres of the decade; a broad music style associated with soft rock or adult contemporary pop. Peeled from the AM/FM airwaves of the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s, Yacht Rock draws from smooth soul & jazz, R&B, and disco.

Yacht Rock live will feature Doug Edgell! Doug Edgell is a Pittsburgh-based guitarist and vocalist with over 35 years of performing experience. In the 1990s, he was the guitarist and songwriter for the band Sleeping Giants, and has since built a strong presence throughout the tri-state area as both a solo acoustic performer and a member of the 90s tribute band High Fidelity.

Known for his smooth vocals, versatile guitar work, and engaging stage presence, Doug brings a polished, crowd-pleasing style to every performance. Offstage, he’s known for his warm, approachable personality and his belief in music’s power to connect and bring people together—something that shines through in every show.
