On Sept. 3, moviegoers can get $3 tickets in 3k+ US theaters. The National Association of Theater Owners hopes its new National Cinema Day will attract more customers amid a slow season.

Did you know that left-handers day is August 13?
Our challenge this week is to celebrate our southpaw friends by spending time working with our non-dominant hands.
Why? It’s a great way to build mindfulness.
It forces you to SLOW down and be more aware of what you’re doing in the moment.
Your challenge: every day this week, intentionally use your non-dominant hand.
Some ideas:
Brush your teeth
Open doors
Clean your house
Write in your journal
Use your fork
Interestingly, a study in Australia found that using your non-dominant hand appears to be linked with improved self-control. (They had people using their non-dominant hand for two weeks straight.)
But for our challenge, try it for just a few minutes a day!

June 1st: National Go Barefoot Day
Soles4Souls created National Go Barefoot Day after the 2004 Tsunami disaster to support those affected by the event. However, donations have continued to come in and over 56 million pairs of shoes have been donated worldwide since 2005.
Help us by donating slightly worn shoes at the studio this week and we will ship them to Soles4Souls.
