PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough of McKees Rocks Planning Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 beginning 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers of the McKees Rocks Municipal building located at 340 Bell Avenue, McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania 15136 to review lot consolidation plans and land development plans submitted by Morris Knowles & Associates, Inc on behalf of Chartiers Avenue Apartments, LP for parcel(s) known 43-K-215 and 43-K-219. The Planning Commission may also consider other general borough business at that time if applicable. The public is welcome to attend.

The Borough of McKees Rocks is currently hiring for Part-Time SUMMER HELP for the Public Works Dept. - $12.50 hour, approximately 25 hours week for 8 weeks
2 Positions Available
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Available Monday through Friday 7am-3pm
- Majority of work will be outside

Mt Calvary Cemetery, 1715 Middletown Road is in desperate need for volunteers today to place flags on graves for Memorial Day. If anyone is available to help, please go to cemetery anytime after 9am (now). thank you!

Dear Property Owners of McKees Rocks:
The Borough's 2026 Road Paving Project has officially begun, starting mid-week, May 21st through May 26th. Milling will begin in the area of Rose and Anderson Alley area, followed by area(s) of Church, Taggart, and Herbst Alley. Final milling day will be in the area(s) of Hieber Alley and Helen Street. There will also be some storm water work and catch basin replacements done during this time frame near Helen Street and Herbst Alley. Paving will begin tenatively the week of June 1st.

The Borough of McKees Rocks & Police Department would like to THANK everyone who attended the Designer Purse Bingo this past Saturday to help raise money for the care of K9 Officer Roman! The event was a HUGE success, raising over $7,000! We can't express our gratitude enough to everyone who volunteered, donated, and simply showed up to support!
