Roberts for Sheriff

During these very tiring and stressful months of campaigning, Brad Bellipanni and I worked side by side; everyday. He and I maintained a good working relationship and despite both of us running for Sheriff; we never disrespected the other or tried to tear each others career down. He's fair, honest and the best choice for Pike County Sheriff. I'm asking everyone that voted for me; to trust me one more time.... and vote for Brad Bellipanni for Sheriff, TOMORROW, Tuesday, Aug 29th!

Brad Bellipanni and I have been friends for over 40 years, we graduated North Pike together, joined the Marines together and worked in Law Enforcement together. We were friends during the campaign and will be after the election. I support Brad for Sheriff of Pike County because any other candidate will only drag Pike county down. Brad cares about the citizens of Pike County and wont give you lip service like the other candidate. Brad has the resume that's needed to run this county and I'm asking the ones that voted for me to please go back to the polls, in two weeks, and do the same for Brad.

Tomorrow is the big day!

VERY IMPORTANT - You cannot go to the polls wearing a shirt/hat, etc promoting a candidate nor can you have a bumper magnet/door magnet on your vehicle that promotes a candidate. So please be mindful of that when you go vote Tuesday. I would hate for anyone to have to go home, to change clothes, before voting.

This will be my only post on the six officers in Rankin County.

First, and above all is that what good cops hate more than anything, is a bad cop. They undermine everything we strive for.

Secondly, these officers didn’t just decide to do these things. They evolved over time from doing good to doing evil. In my opinion, and from all my years of experience, they lacked supervision and accountability. Like every profession there are going to be bad apples. Law enforcement is no different.

As Sheriff, I will have a zero tolerance for bad cops. Through proper supervision, these bad apples can and will be eliminated before it progresses into criminal acts. Law Enforcement Officers should be held at a higher standard and uphold the law, at all cost.

There are people in Pike County that still don't know who they are voting for and will end up randomly picking somebody.

Statistics say that 88% of people have a high level of trust in a person, that has been recommended by a friend/family member. Word of mouth is the most powerful marketing tool there is!

Please let those around you know that you're voting for me, for Sheriff, and help me finish strong... we only have 4 days left!

If you will not be in town next Tuesday to vote, you can still vote Absentee any day this week, until this Saturday (Aug 5th), at the Circuit Clerk's office! They are open 8-Noon on Saturday!

Robbie Roberts I truly love and care about Pike County, where I raise my family. I have been actively working this area for 20 years of my career. I am afraid without a strong sheriff, everything that was started will not last.
