​If you are looking for an amazing, upscale spot to unwind in El Paso, Chuco Ci**rs at Montecillo is the absolute place to be. I loved the vibe here—unbelievably cozy, elegant, and the perfect atmosphere to sit back and relax.

​The Pairing: Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT & Gentleman Jack

​The Cigar Fact: I smoked the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT (pictured). Here is a great fact about it: while it looks smooth with that golden Connecticut wrapper, it defies expectations. Joya de Nicaragua intentionally crafted it to be a full-flavored smoke, delivering all the rich, spicy, and bold character the brand is famous for, wrapped up in a silky smooth finish.

​The Drink: I paired it with a glass of Gentleman Jack over a perfect ice sphere (pictured). Double-mellowed for exceptional smoothness, the whiskey’s subtle notes of caramel and vanilla blended flawlessly with the creamy but spicy notes of the cigar.

​Chuco Ci**rs is an incredible hidden gem in the Montecillo area. Top-tier selection, great atmosphere, and an all-around amazing experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Resting on a heavy, quality ashtray (pictured), the Tatuaje Reserva provided a smooth, flavorful smoke, fulfilling the expectations set by this premium line. The draw was effortless, and the ash held beautifully—everything a cigar enthusiast looks for.

A pleasant surprise was the quality of the iced coffee. Too often an afterthought at bars, this was a robust, smooth brew, served correctly over generous ice without being watered down. The presentation, served in a heavy-stemmed glass with a personalized Churchill's napkin (pictured), added an elegant touch that typical plastic cups lack.
