We will be praying every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer at 12:30pm CST/ 6:30pm UK. It will only be 5-10 minutes of your time. Set a reminder on your phone and join us when you can.

As bearers of God’s image, all people have the responsibility and privilege of caring for God’s creation. Christians in particular should be motivated by Scripture. We ought to love and care for the Earth because it is God’s very good creation, and because we must care for the most vulnerable people on the planet.

What small things do you do to help take care of the earth?

I’m (Sarah Burnett Smith) going to read this book and I thought I would invite anyone interested to join me in a sort of virtual book club. We would take the month of May to read, and each week I, or someone who wants to, would post a video commentary on the previous week’s chapters to start off a discussion. Then, throughout the next week, each of us would watch the posted video and comment, hopefully spurring a lot of interesting discussions! If you’re interested in giving this a try, 1. let me know and 2. work on getting a copy of the book by May 1st. I will create a group for us here on Faithlife to house our discussions. I’m excited to see where this goes!
