Maggie joined Superintendent Steve Lee, Assistant Superintendent Scott Perrotte, and Treasurer Paul Brotzki at this morningโs Community Conversation. ๐๐๐พ
These conversations are all about building connections, answering questions, and engaging with our community. Maggie was happy to help welcome guests and be part of the discussion.
A special thank you to Georgetteโs Grounds & Gifts for welcoming Maggie and allowing her to be part of the event. We appreciate community partners who help make opportunities like this possible.

Yesterday, Maggie made one more stop at the Maumee Police Division to visit with second shift officers. ๐๐๐พ
A special thank you to Nancy Gagnet, who coordinated both of Maggieโs visits with the City of Maumee.
One of the best parts of being a therapy dog is the connections made along the way, and Maggie certainly made a few new friends this week.

Yesterday, Maggie took her therapy dog duties on the road, visiting staff at the Maumee Police Division, Fire Division, and Municipal Building. ๐๐๐พ
While most people know Maggie from her work in Maumee City Schools, therapy dogs can support people of all ages. Whether she's greeting students, spending time with staff, or visiting community partners, Maggie's job is simple: bring a little comfort, connection, and happiness wherever she goes.
We are grateful for the many people who help make Maumee such a special community and for the warm welcome they gave Maggie during her visit.

Weekend Maggie has entered the chat. ๐๐พ
Maggie may not get summers off, but she definitely enjoys a slower weekend pace. During the week, sheโs busy visiting summer camp, joining staff meetings, and making her rounds with students and staff. Today, though? Today is for naps, pillows, and absolutely no agenda. ๐พ๐
A therapy dogโs work is never doneโฆ but weekends come pretty close. ๐ด๐พ

Our incoming kindergarteners got some hands-on practice with Maggie today. ๐๐๐พ
Before meeting her, students learned how to properly ask permission to pet a therapy dog and how to interact with her respectfully. Then it was time to put those skills into action with Maggie herself.
A great lesson in kindness, respect, and building confidence with our newest Panthers!

Learning about healthy foods is hard workโฆ good thing there were popsicles involved. ๐๐พ
Today, summer camp students cooled off with homemade fruit popsicles as part of their healthy foods PBL. Maggie joined in on the fun and was happy to help demonstrate that healthy treats can be delicious, too. ๐๐

Maggie had a special visit with our kindergarten readiness bootcamp students today. As part of their PBL focused on service dogs, therapy dogs, and K-9s, students have been learning all about the important jobs dogs can do.
Today they got to meet a real therapy dog, learn more about Maggieโs role in schools, give her some pets, and even share a dance with her. Maggie loved spending time with our littlest Panthers and helping bring their learning to life. ๐๐๐พ

Maggie was ready and waiting outside this morning, helping welcome students as they arrived for summer camp. A friendly face and a wagging tail are a pretty great way to start the day. ๐๐๐พ
