Breakthrough Wellness
I help my clients figure out where their pain is coming from by muscle testing, massage, mineral balancing and creating a personalized treatment plan.
let's figure out where your pain is coming from today 💪🫶
If getting out of pain was as simple as laying on my table for an hour, life would be easy.
But the truth is, I can only do so much in one session.
Most of the people I work with aren't dealing with a fresh injury. They're dealing with years of compensation patterns, old injuries their body never forgot, and posture shifts that have slowly become their "normal."
Yes, bodywork matters. But lasting change happens between appointments.
✨ Doing your corrective exercises. ✨ Releasing what is tight. ✨ Practicing better posture throughout your day. ✨ Creating new patterns instead of reinforcing the old ones.
My job isn't just to massage muscles.
My job is to help you understand WHY your body is hurting and give you the tools to create real, long-term change.
Because temporary relief is great…
But helping you stay out of pain? That's the goal. 🙌
Have you ever noticed your pain keeps coming back, no matter how many massages or treatments you'vposture!
Tag someone who says, "I'm just getting old." 👇
Can we stop blaming age for everything?
I refuse to accept that pain is simply the price we pay for getting older.
You know what's old?
👉 That ankle you sprained 15 years ago. 👉 The car accident that gave you whiplash. 👉 The surgery you had. 👉 The stitches, falls, broken bones, and injuries you forgot about…
Your body didn't.
Over time, your body creates compensation patterns to protect you. Those patterns can stick around for years, placing stress on areas that were never designed to do all the work.
And the longer those patterns are there, the more likely they are to create pain, tension, and dysfunction.
That's why I muscle test.
I'm not just looking at where it hurts. I'm looking for the "why."
Because maybe your back pain isn't because you're getting older.
Maybe your compensation patterns are.
And those are worth addressing. 🙌
Getting older is inevitable. Accepting pain as normal is optional.
Everyone talks about the lower body when it comes to anterior pelvic tilt.
Tight low back. Tight quads. Weak abs. Weak glutes.
And yes… those things matter.
But one of the biggest things I see people miss?
👉 The upper body.
If your shoulders are rounded and your head is living way out in front of your body, you're constantly pulling tension through your back and changing how your entire body has to compensate.
So you can spend all day stretching your hip flexors and strengthening your glutes…
…but if the upper body posture isn't being addressed too, you're likely going to feel like you're fighting the same battle over and over again.
The body works as one connected system.
That's why when clients come in, I'm not just looking at where it hurts or focusing on one area. I'm looking at the whole picture.
Because sometimes the thing keeping you stuck isn't where you've been told to look.
✨ And with muscle testing, I can help determine which compensation patterns are showing up and where your body needs support first.
Have you been working on your anterior pelvic tilt? What have you been focusing on?
Look, I get it.
I'm a busy mom who gets overstimulated way too easily, and numbing out on my phone calls my name way more often than I'd like to admit.
After a long day of taking care of everyone else, scrolling the couch feels easy.
And sometimes that's exactly what I do.
But here's the problem...
My body never feels better after an hour of doom scrolling.
My mind might get a temporary distraction, but my neck is stiffer. My hips are tighter. My back is more achy. And my energy is somehow even lower.
The funny thing is that when my body is asking for movement, my brain usually convinces me to do the exact opposite.
But even 5-10 minutes of movement can make a huge difference.
A walk around the block. Some stretching on the living room floor. A few mobility exercises. Dancing in the kitchen while making dinner.
Nothing fancy.
Because your body wasn't designed to spend all day sitting and staring at a screen.
So if you're feeling stiff, achy, low-energy, or stuck...
Your body called.
It wants more movement, not another hour doom scrolling on the couch. 😉
Tell me: what's your favorite way to move when you're feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated? 👇

My office this morning 🥰
I had a couple clients in this beautiful pasture.
It was such a beautiful morning with a great breeze, listening to the bird and trees, and of course the HORSES 🐴🫏🐎
It was such a great, calming experience to get to massage outside.
My windowless office will never compare ha
Most people wait until something hurts before they take action.
The shoulder gets tight. The back starts aching. The knee begins talking every time they go up the stairs.
Then they decide it's time to do something.
But pain rarely shows up out of nowhere.
It's usually the result of months—or years—of small things adding up: ❌ Sitting all day ❌ Not moving enough ❌ Ignoring stiffness ❌ Poor recovery ❌ Old injuries creating compensation patterns ❌ Stress keeping the body tense
The people who stay active and feel good long-term aren't waiting for pain to force them into action.
They're doing the little things consistently.
They're moving their bodies. They're working on mobility. They're paying attention to warning signs before they become problems. They're addressing old injuries instead of pretending they don't exist.
Pain prevention isn't glamorous.
It's the daily choices nobody talks about that make the biggest difference.
So I'll ask again...
What are you doing today to prevent the pain you'll be complaining about six months from now? 👇
Most massage therapists focus on where it hurts.
But what if the painful area isn't actually the problem?
One of the biggest things I see being overlooked is your body's history.
That broken bone from years ago. The surgery that was considered a success. The stitches from an accident. The scar you barely notice anymore. The old injury that "healed" and never bothered you again.
Just because the pain is gone doesn't mean your body stopped compensating.
When your body experiences trauma—whether it's a broken bone, surgery, stitches, a fall, or a significant injury—it creates protective patterns to help you survive and heal. The problem is that those patterns can stick around long after the tissue has recovered.
Many therapists spend all their time treating the tight muscle, sore shoulder, aching hip, or painful back without asking why those tissues became stressed in the first place.
That's where I look differently.
Instead of only focusing on the area that's hurting, I look for the compensation patterns your body developed along the way.
Because the shoulder pain you're feeling today may have started with an old ankle injury.
The low back pain may be connected to a C-section scar.
The neck tension may be your body's response to a surgery from years ago.
Pain is where your body gets your attention. The cause is often somewhere else.
That's why understanding your body's history matters.
What old injury, surgery, or scar has your body never truly forgotten? No sure? Schedule with me and let’s find out.
Just because the pain went away doesn't mean everything returned to normal.
I've seen old ankle sprains affect knee pain years later. Old shoulder injuries show up as neck tension. Tailbone injuries create compensation patterns that impact the entire body.
Your body is smart. When an injury happens, it finds a way to keep you moving. The problem is that those compensation patterns can stick around long after the original injury has "healed."
Then one day your back starts hurting...Your hip feels tight...Your shoulder won't move the way it used to...
And you're left wondering where it came from.
Sometimes the answer isn't where the pain is.
Sometimes the answer is hidden in an injury you've forgotten all about.
That's why I don't just chase symptoms. I look for the patterns underneath them.
Have you ever had an old injury come back to haunt you years later? 👇
What are you doing to move your body throughout the day?
Have you ever added up how much you sit throughout the day?
Do you move enough throughout the day to combat the amount of sitting?
You don't need to be crazy with it!!!
A few minutes of stretching a couple times a day and maybe a step goal will do b you wonders in the long run!!!
Get moving!

I always ask about scars when I am working with a client. A scar can be the source of the dysfunction or the root cause.
Did you know piercings are scars?
Piercings, like a belly button piercing, can be causing different compensation patterns in your body.
Those patterns can be what is causing your pain.
Make sure to massage around your piercings and give them love.
Need me to test to see if your piercings are causing your pain? Schedule and let's find out 😀
