In the midst of so much turmoil in our world, government, cities, even our homes; it’s easy for anxiety to rise. We have the perfect storm and environment for anxiety and fear to become a norm.

However, living in that space only brings about stress, depression, health issues, relational conflict, and bad habits can form.

So what’s the solution? Let’s start with the truth. The truth is we can control nothing but ourselves and how we respond to the circumstances in our lives. If we can’t control it, should we worry? Worry doesn’t help it only hurts. The what ifs in life gets us no where, but asking the right questions truly opens the door to light and answers.

How do I respond to the pressures around me? What should I focus on? Who can help me when I’m feeling anxious? How do I exchange negative thoughts for positive ones?

It’s scientifically proven that gratefulness and anxiety cannot co-exist in the brain. This evidence lends the idea that turning negative what ifs or anxious thoughts to one’s of gratefulness will help you overcome.
