Matt... we missed you.... but the show goes on! Thanks to 7th Hour, Christine Madrigal Sawyer and BuzzBin, Katie Foster and Strret Angel (Stevie Nix Tribute) and Misspent Youth (not pictured) for volunteering! You all Rock!
I would like to start by thanking all of the wonderful people Jam for Vets has met along the way. It’s been an incredible journey since day one, and that’s all thanks to you.
Matt, our founder, put his heart into music and this project. He is now jamming with Jimi Hendrix, and thus it is time for Jam for Vets to be laid to rest as well.
Thank you all, rock on 🤘🏻

Thank you 7th Hour for your support and great music!
Hi everyone! We've been inactive lately. That is more of a function of how much time I have available to drive events and activity. Having said that, we have some cool events coming up this summer. Our loyal and dedicated volunteers SoulQuest (a fantastic band!) are planning to perform once again at the Detroit VA Medical Center for their annual in-patient picnic, and we have several bands signing up under the leadership of Kevin Cooper to play the Seymour Summer Festival in Oxford, MI on Saturday July 9th. Please come support us and watch the best fireworks in Oakland County! Last but certainly not least, Steve Munafo is going to lead a reunion performance of the Victory Band at the Fox Theater on July 11th! More details to come.
Hi everyone! It's that time of year again for the Seymour Celebration in Oxford MI. The dates this year are July 9-11. We're planning to provide music for the event during the day on July 11th. We need 3 additional bands who are willing to volunteer a set. The leadership as Oxford Parks and Recreation has been very generous in their donations to us in return for us providing live music all day. Please hit me up if you might be interested. This looks like a great opportunity for Veterans. And, I trust the person who's in the flyer. Barbie has been one of our most productive and dedicated volunteers over the last few years.
