I had my first tattoo...at the age of 75...last evening. To say it was a positive experience doesn't even come close! From the moment I entered the shop, the pulsating Latino music (it was, after all Cinco de Mayo) grabbed me and my first thought was, "Ut-oh, I'm going to have a hard time sitting still." Next came the realization that I was at least five decades older than anyone else in the shop. It didn't stop two young men from coming over to talk to me, though, and making me feel like one of them! I cannot begin to stress just what an uplifting experience this was. I was there for a little over three hours. To say I felt "pain" is a great exaggeration...I have caused myself more pain when pinning fabric to a dress pattern! Lee was my artist; and what an artist she is! I gave her a picture of the shamrock that I wanted and she created her own version of it...which exceeded the beauty of the one in the picture. If you are considering a tattoo, but are on the fence...please, go for it...and go the Chakra to have it done! The treatment was royal, the staff and other customers very welcoming, and the artistry I saw all around me was incredible. Here's my first tat...there may be more to follow! ...

The energy and professionalism is amazing at this place. I took my 19 year old daughter for her first tattoo and the comfort level was unbelievable . Ace is an amazing artist and very detailed. The vibe in the place was so good, that I already booked a session for myself with Smiley, who is king of coverups. The staff is amazing and Sara and Smiley, the owners really go above and beyond. I already have 26 tatts, and now plan on 5 more before summer. I have never felt this comfortable in a tattoo shop, and I have been to many. If I could give a rating of 100, I would

Where are you guys?

What a great experience! Brian inked both me and my wife and we could not be more pleased. The shop is clean, bright and inviting and the people are great. If you are thinking about getting your first tattoo, adding to an existing one, or whatever, you could not make a better choice.
