Some theatre companies sell ads. Some sell raffle tickets. Spotlight Players looked at Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and said, “You know what this needs? Cheeseburgers and chocolate.” And honestly? Correct.

On May 28th, join us at Court Jester Saloon & Eatery in Aberdeen for a fundraiser supporting our upcoming production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. From 4PM–11PM, you can support local live theatre simply by showing up hungry, ordering your favorite comfort food, and participating in one of humanity’s greatest traditions: eating fries you swore you wouldn’t touch.

And because one dessert-themed fundraiser simply wasn’t enough for a show about a literal chocolate factory, we’re also selling Gertrude Hawk chocolate bars for $2.50 each. Rich chocolate. Local theatre. Zero downside.

Every burger, basket of wings, and chocolate bar helps us bring this wildly imaginative production to life onstage this August. Costumes, sets, lights, props, candy-colored chaos… it all adds up, and community support truly makes the magic happen.

So whether you come for dinner, chocolate, or the pure joy of supporting the arts while casually inhaling mozzarella sticks, we appreciate you more than an Oompa Loompa appreciates workplace choreography.
