Building Blocks for Kids

We have an important update to share.

After many years of serving families and children with disabilities, Building Blocks for Kids will be suspending operations at the end of this month as we explore options for the future — including merging with another organization or transitioning some of our programs.
For 23 years, we’ve worked to ensure that no family seeking help is turned away — and that commitment continues. We are dedicated to fulfilling every promise made to children currently in our program and on our waitlist.
Thanks to generous donations from one of our major donors and several local foundations, we only need $7,500 more to complete all remaining needs.

Each year, we invite all fathers/father-figures to bring their child(ren) living with disabilities to an unforgettable night where bonds are strengthened, and memories are made. This event features dinner, crafts, face painting, live critters; dancing, and a photo booth to capture those special moments.

It also includes the opportunity for our families to ask for something for their child or family that they may not be able to get otherwise. This is how you can help us meet as many of those wishes as possible.

We also need gift cards or gift memberships for the following places: Apple ($50) OR Delta ($100), Best Buy ($100), Newport Aquarium Membership ($85), Zoo tickets or membership, tickets to the Cincinnati Ballet Swan Lake performance, and a membership to the Cincinnati Art Museum. Who knows when the International Charity Day is?

The International Charity Day is a global initiative established by the United Nations in 2012 to promote charitable efforts and raise awareness about the importance of giving back to society.

We are just a little over two weeks away from the ProAm Invitational Tournament and we need golfers who want to play and up their game.
