AutoGrowl
We are a single-point remote marketing department for franchise car dealerships.
OUR MISSION
Our mission at AutoGrowl is to improve the automotive experience for both dealers and consumers. OUR VISION
We envision a world where consumers get excited to purchase a vehicle. An industry that has progressed so customer experience and care trump ulterior motives. Where the retention of customers and retention of employees are the #1 priority.

A lot of agencies can run ads.
A lot of agencies can send reports.
A lot of agencies can schedule a monthly call and tell you what your CPC was.
But how many actually show up?
At AutoGrowl, we believe the best marketing happens inside the dealership, not from behind a computer screen hundreds of miles away.
That’s why we spend time in our clients’ stores.
We walk the lot.
Sit with sales teams.
Talk with advisors.
Learn personalities.
Understand processes.
See what customers actually experience.
Because the truth is, you can’t fully help a dealership grow if you’ve never experienced the culture inside the building.
When you show up consistently, you stop becoming “the marketing company” and start becoming part of the team.
You notice things before they become problems.
You understand the strengths of the staff.
You identify opportunities competitors are missing.
You create content that actually feels authentic to the store.
Most importantly, you build relationships.
Not transactional partnerships.
Real relationships.
That’s what allows us to coach proactively instead of reactively.
That’s what helps us create strategies tailored to each store instead of cookie-cutter marketing.
And that’s what helps dealerships feel supported instead of outsourced.
We believe dealerships deserve more than a vendor
They deserve a partner willing to show up.

Walk into most dealerships today and you’ll see a lot of marketing happening everywhere, posts, ads, videos, specials. On paper, it looks active.
But when you step back and look at it from the customer’s side, it’s not always clear what’s supposed to stand out or why it matters.
At AutoGrowl, we’ve been paying closer attention to that gap. The difference between “content that exists” and “content that actually influences a decision” usually comes down to whether it reflects how people think when they’re in the buying process, not just what the dealership wants to say.
After the Dealer Profitability Summit, John shared his perspective on Ian’s breakdown of consumer decision-making and how that thinking applies in real dealership environments. It was a reminder that small shifts in understanding behavior can completely change how marketing performs.

Only 35% of businesses make it to the 10-year mark.
Truthfully, seeing that number puts a lot into perspective for us.
Over the last decade, there have been plenty of unknowns, risks, long nights, stressful moments, exciting wins, and opportunities we never could’ve imagined when AutoGrowl first started. What began with one client and a vision slowly turned into a growing team, incredible partnerships, and a company we’re truly proud of today.
There’s no secret formula to making it this far. It takes consistency. It takes adapting when things change. It takes people who believe in the mission even when the path isn’t easy.
Most importantly, it takes relationships.
To every client who trusted us, every partner who supported us, and every team member who helped build this company along the way, thank you. 🦁

A lot can happen in 10 years.
New offices. New teammates. Thousands of pieces of content. Countless dealership visits. Early mornings, late nights, big ideas, and even bigger goals. 🦁
What’s never changed is the mission helping dealers grow while building something we’re proud of along the way.
Looking back at this timeline is a reminder of how far we’ve come… and how much more is ahead.🔥
It’s easy to think a business is defined by how things go when everything is running smoothly.
But in reality, it’s the moments that don’t go as planned that reveal the most. Not just about systems or processes, but about people, and how they choose to respond when things get difficult.
Moments of crisis aren’t just problems to solve. They’re opportunities to slow down, pay attention, and show someone that their experience actually matters beyond the transaction.
In automotive especially, those are often the moments customers remember the most. Not because something went wrong, but because of how it was handled afterward.

Today is a 10-year milestone for AutoGrowl.
Ten years ago, AutoGrowl started with a focus on enhancing dealership marketing and helping dealers show up in a more effective and consistent way.
Since then, it’s been a lot of learning, building, and figuring things out along the way. Some things worked, some didn’t go as planned, but every step came with people who supported us, trusted us, and gave us the chance to keep going.
What stands out the most looking back isn’t any single project or milestone, it’s the relationships. The clients who took a chance early, the partners who stuck with us, and the teams who put in the work day after day to help shape what AutoGrowl is today.
We’re incredibly appreciative of everyone who has been part of that journey in any way. None of it happens alone, and we don’t take that for granted.
Ten years in, and it still feels like we’re just getting started 🚀

Ever click on something, read it twice… and still not really know what it’s trying to say?
You’re not alone, and that moment right there is where most offers lose people.
Not because the product isn’t good.
Not because the price is wrong.
But because it didn’t land fast enough to make sense.
And when something doesn’t make sense quickly, people don’t usually stick around to figure it out.
They just keep scrolling.
It’s a quiet kind of exit that happens thousands of times a day. No complaints. No feedback. Just missed attention.
The funny part is, most businesses don’t realize this is happening. They think people are “not interested,” when really… they were just unclear on what they were looking at.
And online, clarity wins in seconds, not minutes.
If someone has to pause, re-read, or “think about it,” you’ve already added friction.
And friction is what kills momentum before anything even starts.
The best-performing messages aren’t always the most clever or detailed.
They’re the ones that instantly make people go: “Oh, I get it.”
Because once someone gets it, everything changes.

Ever feel like you’re doing everything in your marketing… and still not sure what’s actually working?
You’re posting. Running ads. Spending more each month.
But when it comes down to it…
Where are your leads really coming from?
Why do results feel all over the place?
You’re not alone. We see this all the time.
It’s not that the effort isn’t there.
It’s that the strategy behind it isn’t built to give you clear, consistent results.
We put together a simple 5 point checklist that calls out some of the biggest red flags, from unclear tracking to unpredictable performance.
If a few hit a little too close, it might be time to stop guessing and start building something that actually works.
That’s exactly what we help dealerships do every day at AutoGrowl.
Why do some dealership messages instantly connect… while others get ignored?
It comes down to something simple: the “croc brain.”
This is the part of the brain that makes quick, instinct-driven decisions. It’s constantly filtering for what’s clear, relevant, and easy to understand and tuning out anything that feels complicated.
For dealerships, that matters more than ever.
If your demos, messaging, or offers take too much effort to process, you’re losing attention before you ever get a chance to earn the sale.
The dealerships seeing the most success are making this a priority. They’re simplifying their message, leading with clear value, and making it easy for customers to quickly understand why it matters.
When you speak to the croc brain, you don’t just get attention you keep it. And that’s what moves customers closer to a decision.
